Say what you see
Photographs and plain language help homeowners understand the issue, the options and the reason behind a recommendation.
OUR STORY
A family-business story built around the things a homeowner should never have to ask for: clear answers, a careful plan and respect for their home.

DANIEL & ELISE MERCER / CO-FOUNDERS
Daniel grew up helping restore older homes, fascinated by the way a sound roof protects everything underneath. Elise brought a love of organization and a habit of asking the question a homeowner might be too polite to ask.
They started Ridge & Oak in 2012 as a small, approachable roofing business serving Salt Lake Valley. Daniel looks after the assessment and workmanship; Elise keeps the scope, schedule and homeowner conversations moving together.
A good day ends with a homeowner who understands their roof a little better, a tidy work area, and every question answered. Those are the details that keep our work personal.
THE WAY WE THINK ABOUT WORK
Photographs and plain language help homeowners understand the issue, the options and the reason behind a recommendation.
A written scope makes the materials, work sequence, assumptions and next steps visible before the project starts.
A house is still a home while work is happening. Access, cleanup, pets and the small details deserve a conversation.
GOOD WORK BEGINS WITH A GOOD PLAN
